I grew up in Accra, Ghana and was blessed to have had parents who believed in me and gave me a desktop computer (a windows Pentium 386). This was the first full graphics computer at the time after the invention of the monochrome computer in that era. In college, I took an interest in Financial Accounting Systems and programmed in Visual Basic and Visual Fox Pro. Soon, I was designing departmental websites for my alma mater; Calvin College where I forged lifelong friendships and a learner aptitude that hasn't stopped.

my professional career started at a TV Station in Grand Rapids Michigan as a Web Producer and Programmer responsible for reproducing news copy from AP news and cropping news images from the CHIRON server. I also updated the websites and took video working on special projects for Marketing, Special Segments and Commmunity Affairs.

My professional and academic life has revolved around Microsoft Products and applications. I also have experience in CMS applications,Workflows, Robotic Process Applications(RPA) and general application programming. I have been a member of the Chicago SharePoint Community for the past 15 years and along the way developed applications and contributed to projects both large and small to several companies and industries.

I believe in using technology to assist people in making thier lifes work easier and more enjoyable.

I have a Master of Education (Instructional Design) from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science from Calvin University.
